Stillwater Looks For Playoff Berth With Week 10 Win
The Stillwater Pioneers will play their season finale this Friday night in Owasso as they take on the Rams of Owasso High
The Pioneers (2-7) head into Friday night's matchup coming off of a 43-27 win over the Enid Plainsmen. In his third game this
year starting at quarterback, senior John Littell looked more comfortable than ever. Stillwater was able to dominate the line of
scrimmage, as they had three runners rush for over 100 yards. Defensively, the Pioneers were equally as impressive, holding
Enid to six points in the first half before giving up a few scores in the second after the game was out of reach.
For Owasso, they come into this week's game with their playoff hopes still very much alive. The Rams (4-5) currently sit at fourth
place in the district following a 38-21 road loss to Sand Springs. The Rams will look to finish the season at .500 and improve to
3-1 at home for the year.
Following their Senior Night victory, the Pioneers with look carry that momentum with them on the road and finish off what has
been a frustrating season on a high note. In their way stands a Rams team with a lot to lose and still very much to gain.
